Fieldmasters have proven to be a brand name of the highest assurance for quality large Irish horses. As a small private hunt and competition yard in Leicestershire, we take time to know our horses well. We focus on the individual horses to enable them to excel in their abilities. Fieldmasters provides access to some of the very best horses Ireland has to offer. We take immense pride from knowing if you buy from Fieldmasters you will have an Irish horse of distinction.

After years of successfully working with trusted finders and riders in Ireland, we are absolutely confident in our selection process. We insist upon high standards in the calibre of horse chosen because we purchase each one outright, often directly from
the private Irish breeder or producer, and import them ourselves to Leicestershire.

Our rule is to buy a horse we are happy to keep for life or don't buy it at all. If it's not good enough for us to keep, it won't be good enough for you to buy. A Fieldmasters horse not only performs exceptionally well but he must have extra quality and presence to distinguish himself from the crowd. While we only hunt school them, many have gone on to professional event and dressage homes or lead a double life doing both.

Fieldmasters is our passion. We chose to support and promote the continuation of the traditonal quality Irish hunter in Leicestershire originally in response to the negative potential of the proposed Hunting Act 2004. In return, all our horses are pre-hunted in Ireland or in Leicestershire by us for our own personal enjoyment. We are delighted that 40% in 2008/2009 examples sold went straight onto masterships.We believe all our horses are special.
